     About us

Our Vision

TRC will be the light of Jesus so that every community in Greater Dayton will hear God’s

healing message of grace and hope and will know Christ’s love first-hand.

Our Mission

TRC will welcome into hope people from all walks of life. We will teach a Christ-centered

message of healing and grace. We will never hide in a building but will carry the light of Jesus

without reservation into every community. We will serve others, will respond with love to

people’s needs, and will act on God’s desire for all to be free and have life to the fullest.

Who We Are

TRC is a family made up of people who don’t all look alike or think alike. We are united through

our love for Jesus and our love for one other. We want to be just Christians, not a particular

brand of Christians. Each of us is broken and imperfect, but that’s okay because Jesus forgives

and loves us all. We are equally valued: no one is without blessings and gifts to contribute.

What We Believe

There is one God—one Creator who so loved His creations that He sent His Son to save us.

There is one Savior, Jesus Christ, who died upon a cross and then rose from the grave so that all

who believe might be free and have eternal life.

Jesus Christ is the model for how we should live: we love others as He has loved us.

God’s Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth which lives within all who call upon the name of the

Lord: this Spirit empowers us in our daily walk with Jesus.

Christians are called to be one body, united in diversity through our commitment to Jesus Christ.

The Church is called to be the light of the world—to shine the light of Jesus in every corner

where darkness has tried to hold people down in fear and shame.

The Church is filled with imperfect people who, despite their imperfections and their struggles,

have been saved through grace and born anew to become more like Jesus.

Prayer, Bible study, and service to others are vital to our walk with Jesus.

God hears and responds to our prayers.

The Bible is God speaking to us through the ages.

Just as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, so also are we to serve others.
